Van Der Plas Gallery Review

Van Der Plas Gallery

This past October,  I was in a group show at Van Der Plas Gallery and owner, Adriaan Van Der Plas has some kind words I wanted to  share with you relative to the the piece they included, “Dispersion”:

“Among the remaining artists, Carla Caletti alone might have figured out how to exist in two worlds at once. Her daubed paintings of urban street life depict people in an unforgiving landscape, yet the subjects move in an atmosphere vibrating with molecules of lifegiving color.”

The Stable Show; A Pop-Up Gallery on 11/6/16

The Stable Show

The Stable Show is a One Day Pop-Up Gallery featuring San Francisco artists Carla Caletti and Kevin Keaney showing work in mixed media, painting and collage. Self-curated, this show seeks to galvanize energies and resources for the creation of a social arts organization with educational and community activism as central goals. The artists see curating their own shows in a one day pop format as self-empowering (why wait for a gallery to say “Yes”). As part of their community commitment, they will share a portion of proceeds from sales to the Haight Ashbury Psychological Service and Building Resources.
