Beginning in early April 2020 as the Covid-19 Shelter in Place order began in New Mexico, I started this series of small paintings. They are a documentation of sorts; with the figures depicted in different states of relationship to the times and conditions. I think of them as my front line workers; sending out prayers of care and protection to the world at large.
